The 75-gram Diagnostic Glucose Beverage is used in the 2-hour Glucose Load Test. This product is intended for use in Diabetes Mellitus and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus screening.
The Fresh Test® Bottle – BPA Free product will need to be reconstituted with water. Instruct patients to add water to the FILL LINE indicated on the bottle. They will then shake until fully dissolved.
Follow your current Glucose Load Test protocol.After a fasting plasma glucose measurement is performed,Patients should consume the entire 75-gram beverage within 5 minutes (best served cold). A plasma glucose measurement is then obtained at 1-hour and 2-hour. For additional testing guidance, please refer to your laboratory or American Diabetes Association recommendations.
