It is recommended that you follow your current Oral Glucose Tolerance Test protocol.  Per the American Diabetes Association, a 100-gram oral glucose tolerance test is to be administered while fasting.  

The Fresh Test® Glucose Powder will need to be reconstituted with 10 ounces of water.  Instruct your patient to consume the 100-gram glucose beverage within 5 minutes. For an enjoyable patient experience, have your patient consume the beverage cold. Take care that your patient consumes the entirety of the product within 5 minutes for accurate results. Subsequent plasma glucose measurements will be taken at 1-hour, 2-hour and 3-hour. Specifications & Instructions For Use.
