It is recommended that you follow your provider’s current Oral Glucose Tolerance Test protocol.  

The Fresh Test® Bottle – BPA Free product will need to be reconstituted with water.  Add water to the FILL LINE indicated on the bottle. Shake for three minutes or until dissolved. 

Per the American Diabetes Association, a 100-gram oral glucose tolerance test is to be administered while fasting.  After a fasting plasma glucose measurement is performed, you will consume the 100-gram glucose beverage within 5 minutes. 

For an enjoyable patient experience, consume the beverage cold.  Subsequent plasma glucose measurement will be taken at 1-hour, 2-hour and 3-hour.
