It is recommended that you follow your current Oral Glucose Tolerance Test protocol.  Per theAmerican Diabetes Association, a 75-gram oral glucose tolerance test is to be administered while fasting.

For an enjoyable patient experience, have the product refrigerated. After a fasting plasma glucose measurement is performed, have your patient consume this 75-gram glucose beverage within 5 minutes. Take care that your patient consumes the entirety of the product within 5 minutes for accurate results.
